Worth knowing: Since April 2023 the rules are framed as "taxable supply information" rather than a formal tax invoice. Under NZ$200 only the basics are needed; from NZ$200 you must show your GST number and the GST amount; from NZ$1,000 the buyer's name and address as well. A registered buyer can request the information within 28 days.
