Document data stays local by default

Quick Invoice Tool is designed so you can create invoices and quotations in your browser. Document details such as client names, addresses, line items, totals, notes, and payment instructions are stored locally in your browser vault by default. We do not need to upload your invoice content to generate a PDF.

Information we may collect

We may collect basic usage data such as page views, feature usage, PDF downloads, browser type, approximate country, and anonymous visitor identifiers. This helps us understand whether the tool works reliably and which guides or features are useful.

If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address, message, browser details, and screenshots.

Cookies and browser storage

The tool uses browser storage such as IndexedDB and local storage to save your local vault, selected currency, locale, template, and page size. Admin access uses a secure cookie for authentication. You can clear local browser data at any time, but doing so may remove saved documents from that browser.

Advertising and third-party services

Quick Invoice Tool may use third-party services for hosting, analytics, security, and advertising. If advertising is enabled, ad providers may use cookies or similar technologies according to their own policies. We do not sell your invoice document content.

Data retention

Documents saved in your local vault remain in your browser until you delete them, clear browser storage, switch devices, or use a different browser profile. Analytics and operational logs may be retained for reporting, troubleshooting, abuse prevention, and product improvement.

Your choices

You can use the generator without creating an account. You can delete local documents in the vault, clear browser storage, use private browsing, or contact us with privacy questions. If you need help, visit the Help Center or email hello@quickinvoicetool.com.
